CULTURAL HERITAGE AND SUSTAINABLE FASHION PERFORMANCE

UNICAMPANIA

Unicampania's Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Fashion collection showcase took place in Aversa, at our Italian partner's historical venue of Convento di San Lorenzo ad Septimum. After many months of effort developing the collection, the final Fashion Alive runway event delivered a powerful message on the impact of cultural heritage on sustainable fashion promotion and dissemination.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION

Unicampania has revolutionized the concept of “corredo” through their exquisite slow fashion collection, skillfully blending traditional craft techniques, advanced production processes, and upcycling to create an alluring assortment in elegant all-white with striking red and blue accents. Drawing from Italy’s rich heritage and made-in phenomenon, their designs exude timeless style and sophistication while preserving a sense of history in every piece.

Embracing sustainability and mindful fashion, Unicampania’s collection narrates a compelling story of artisanal craftsmanship and eco-consciousness. By infusing each design with repurposed materials, they craft garments that transcend fleeting trends, embodying a harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation. Step into their captivating wonderland, where fashion meets ethics, and discover the allure of a collection that not only enhances your style but also empowers you to make a positive impact on the environment.

COLLECTION SHOWCASE

The concept behind the collection showcase was to create a dialogue between cultural heritage and slow fashion with modern, accelerated times, examining their coexistence by hybridizing advanced digital techniques and valuable historic traditions portrayed in the designs, to showcase the appeal of individuality and context for sustainable design.

It was presented in a way that emphasizes how cultural heritage is and must be a part of a sustainable fashion future.

PROJECT EXHIBITION AND PROCESS

The Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Fashion event also included a showcase of the Uminho and Creamodite’s work, as well as a selection of lookbooks and experimentations of the work that was shown on the performance runway.
